Inside Hong Kong’s Hospitality and Art Scenes

As a creative studio, we hear a lot of talk about AI taking over our work. And yet, the past 6 months have been the most exciting period in our 5 years of business – with shoots across Las Vegas, Tokyo, Macau, and Hong Kong. While AI-powered software can do a lot, our clients continue to seek authentic, emotive content that will resonate with their audiences. This is especially true for the lifestyle brands we had the chance to work with over the past few months – some of the top players in Hong Kong's hospitality and art industries.

Black Sheep Restaurants

In the span of six months, we documented the grand launch of the beloved Parisian steakhouse La Vache! at Exchange Square; we captured Eat Central, Black Sheep’s pop-up at Art Central 2026, which brought five restaurant concepts under one roof; we shot the festive menus at intimate seafood bar Salon des Refusés and Swiss fondue restaurant Chalet des Alpes; and, the real highlight: we photographed an iconic festive campaign for French bistro Jean-Pierre, the hottest new restaurant in town. Think Salvador Dalí meets Parisian tradition – a surreal visual journey that ended up being one of our most creative projects to date.

Art Basel

In March, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Art Basel for the sixth consecutive year, providing photography, video production, and post-production services to more than 80 gallery partners and global sponsors.

Langham Hospitality Group

Another highlight was a leadership communications series we created for Langham Hospitality Group, featuring the group’s CEO, Bob van den Oord. Through thoughtful visual storytelling, we elevated the group’s new global employee onboarding welcome video, reimagining it as an authentic film introducing new joiners to the group’s heritage-led hospitality.

Wuliangye

Last but not least, we were thrilled to work with Cubix on our first collaboration with Wuliangye – one of China's largest and most popular baijiu brands. The label launched its latest product, Wuliangye 29%, in Hong Kong with local celebrity singer and songwriter G.E.M. (Gloria Tang Sze-wing) as a brand ambassador. To mark this milestone, we produced a series of videos, including a striking FOOH, KOL vox pops, an ambassador testimonial, and a cinematic cocktail tutorial by award-winning mixologist Antonio Lai.

We're also cooking up something big in animation design and looking to integrate more and more VFX in our productions, plus we’ll be heading back to Macau soon for another major project – more on that next month. In the meantime, we'd love to grab a coffee and hear about what you're building. Reach out to me directly if you're keen!
